Inspection partnership
between the
FSA and the AWS
In cooperation with the AWS (American Warmblood Society), the FSA is proud to be able to offer our members the option of having their horses inspected at AWS inspections to fullfill the requirements of the FSA.
This cooperative opportunity makes it possible for FSA members to have access to inspections which are reasonably priced and held in several locations throughout the US. (*Note: one key to making the experience run more smoothly is to be certain to let the AWS know the horse is FSA registered, this makes it much easier for everyone involved to keep the paperwork straight!) Once your horse has been to inspection, you simply submit the score sheet to the FSA, and the results will then also count for the FSA -- what could be easier!

Congratulations to the two newest stallions to be Approved for Breeding by the FSA...
Mathijs and Othello are both purebred Friesians, owned by Robert Labrie / Friesians of Majesty. Both stallions were already Approved for Breeding by the FPZV, and are now dually Approved by the FSA, and entered into the Foundation Book. Both stallions have also already earned their Bronze Elite status via dressage performance.

The registration fee for foals registered before December 31st is only $35.
Foals registered before December 31st of the year foaled are not required to have DNA on file. (Although we still highly recommend it.)
Congratulations...
Congratulations to the Friesian Sporthorse filly "Lily ROF" who recently won the 2011 USDF/DSHB Southeast Regional Championships "Foals of Current Year". Lily ROF is the first Friesian Sporthorse ever to win this honor! (The USDF/DSHB classes have traditionally been dominated by Warmbloods in the past, and all other age groups were dominated by Warmbloods at these Championships as well.) The FSA is very proud of Lily ROF!
Lily ROF is a Main Book / Bronze Elite Friesian Sporthorse filly by Lexington (Main Book / Silver Elite / Approved for Breeding) and owned by Carrie Simmons / Cornerstone Sporthorses.
Friesian Sporthorse Trivia:
Only three (3) Friesian Sporthorses have ever been ranked on the USDF's Dressage Horse of the Year National Top 20. Can you name them?
